Celebrating biodiversity

Flora, fauna and geology – a complex relationship between climate, soil, plants and animals over many years. What better way to investigate biodiversity than a day out to the Stirling Range National Park. The mountains of mystery only show themselves to those who take the time to look. Hard to imagine that this mountain range once formed over a billion years ago and that the peaks were part of an ancient river bed. Next time you climb to the top of a peak look closely for ripple formations in the rocks!
